Maria and I did problems on the Daily GRE problems Daily GRE. These questions are better than what the book we tried last week, but they still are written poorly.
Maria and I plan to show up Tuesday at 9 AM at the science library to do problems on our own.

If you take a look at the link that Matt just shared, there is a paragraph that talks about how bad the "purple book" is. The handy review handouts are at the bottom.

The questions from the site above are the only actual physics GRE questions in public domain (there were only 4 Physics GREs ever released). The 'purple book' you tried last week and indeed almost all other books make up their own questions.
I apologize for the poorly written questions, though I cannot do much about that since I am not the one who actually writes the questions.
